The Mystery and Adventure of Bridge-building

Abstract

This paper considers some of the bridges that may exist within the counselling space: from the bridge of the therapeutic relationship to the numerous bridges that create and are created by the therapist, across theoretical modalities, as well as personal bridges - familial, cultural and historical.
