Abstract

The recent psychedelics renaissance has seen an upsurge in research into their potential therapeutic uses. The author consider what relevance these developments have to existential psychotherapy, in particular by examining how psychedelic experiences may relate to Søren Kierkegaard’s analyses of the self and despair.
