Reflections on Existential Supervision

This paper is an attempt to summarize a very inspiring and thought- provoking experience. I will try to show how my experience in Birstonas mirrored what, to me, is at the heart of existential therapy and supervision. I aim to show how transformative the supervisory relationship can be when we take ‘supervision’ as it is traditionally understood, out of supervision. We covered too much to include in this paper. The relationship I had with my interpreter Marina Badkhen also played a very important part in how I was able to express myself and be with the group of supervisors.
